
At 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and therefore one of the renowned Seven Summits (the highest peaks on each continent).
A dormant volcano consisting of three distinct volcanic cones the highest point is Uhuru Peak situated on the crater rim of Kibo volcano.
Kilimanjaro is also the highest free standing mountain in the World.
This 11-day expedition to Tanzania and Kilimanjaro is a once in a lifetime experience and the summit route we use makes this a perfectly attainable peak for the regular fit hillwalker or trekker and you will be guided by experienced and Government licensed Climbing Guides and supported with a local cook team and porters and British medical team.
During our time climbing the mountain we will pass through FIVE different habitats, Tropical Rainforest, Moorland, Semi Desert, Alpine Desert and Arctic

Grade & days trekking 7 trekking days
No previous trekking experience is necessary, but you need to be an active walker. You should be training before your trek, as typically you will be walking between 4 – 7 hours over several consecutive days and at altitude. Be prepared for rough and rocky trails at times and the occasional snow patch. This trek requires no climbing with ropes or the use of ice axe or crampons.
